Everything about this IMCO screams quality. The chrome plating is thick and even, the mechanism has zero play, and the lighter seal is tight. The Super Triplex design is both functional and beautiful. I have cheaper lighters that work fine, but using this IMCO is an experience. The feel, the sound, the flame - perfection.

The chrome finish, the legendary mechanism, the robust construction - this lighter competes with pieces costing twice as much. The gasoline flame burns clean and strong. I now understand why people are so passionate about IMCO lighters. Absolutely brilliant.

The IMCO Super Triplex is arguably the most iconic lighter design ever made. This Fire Sword version in chrome is stunning. The triple function mechanism works flawlessly - open, light, close. Austrian engineering at its finest. The chrome finish is brilliant and the lighter feels indestructible. A true collector must-have.
Converted me from Zippo to IMCO
Was a Zippo loyalist for 10 years until I tried this IMCO Super Triplex. The mechanism is more interesting, the chrome finish is superior, and the fuel efficiency is noticeably better. The Fire Sword design gives it personality. I still love my Zippos but this IMCO is now my daily carry. Highly recommended to all lighter enthusiasts.
Excellent lighter with minor learning curve
Build quality is outstanding - solid chrome construction that feels like it will last decades. The Super Triplex mechanism is unique and very satisfying once you master it. Took me about a day to get comfortable with the triple action. Flame is strong and consistent. The fire sword design element adds a nice visual touch. Great addition to my collection.
Solid chrome lighter with character
The IMCO Fire Sword is a beautiful lighter. The chrome body has good weight and the silver finish catches light nicely. The Super Triplex mechanism works smoothly after a few uses. Fuel holds well for a gasoline lighter. Four stars only because I wish the flint was slightly easier to replace, but it is a minor thing for an otherwise excellent lighter.
Beautiful lighter for collection and daily use
The Fire Sword IMCO Super Triplex looks amazing in chrome. Great for both display and everyday use. The gasoline mechanism is reliable and the Triplex action becomes second nature quickly. Well packed and delivered fast by Smokeking. The only suggestion would be to include some basic instructions for new IMCO users.
