Worth the premium price

Was hesitant to spend 2000 on a lighter but this exceeded expectations. The side slip action is addictive. Build quality reminds me of old school European lighters my grandfather had. The brass weight in your hand feels reassuring. Fuel lasts about 2 weeks with moderate use. Absolutely no regrets with this purchase.

Gift for my husband - he loved it

Bought this as a birthday gift for my husband who collects lighters. He was genuinely impressed by the craftsmanship. Good quality fluid lighter

Solid brass body, smooth mechanism, good flame. The narrow design is a nice change from bulkier lighters. Fuel does not evaporate as quickly as my Zippo which is a big plus. The only reason for 4 stars is that I expected a slightly louder click when opening, but functionally it is perfect.

Premium quality but takes getting used to

The build quality is fantastic - solid brass with good weight to it. The side slip mechanism took me a couple of days to get comfortable with, but once you get the hang of it, it is actually more convenient than a flip top. Flame is consistent and the lighter holds fuel well. Deducting one star only because the instructions could be better.

Best everyday carry lighter I own

I have been using this daily for 2 weeks now and it has not let me down once. The sealed construction means fuel lasts longer than my Zippo. The slim rectangular design fits perfectly in my shirt pocket. The flame is strong and windproof enough for outdoor use. Highly recommended for anyone who wants something different from the usual Zippo.

Conversation starter at every gathering

Every time I pull this out, people ask about it. The side slip mechanism is unique and the brass body looks expensive. It is a proper gentleman lighter that stands out from the usual Zippos everyone carries. Fuel efficiency is good and the flame is strong. Already ordered another one as a gift.

Good lighter but scratches easily

The lighter itself works perfectly - great flame, reliable spark, holds fuel well. But the brass surface scratches quite easily from daily carry. Within a week I had visible marks. If you are okay with that patina look it is fine, but just be aware. Mechanism and function wise it is a 5 star lighter.

Elegant design and solid build

Really nice lighter. The narrow profile makes it easy to carry and the brass develops a nice patina over time. The spark is reliable and the fuel chamber is well sealed. Only minor complaint is I wish it came with a small pouch for protection, but at this price it is still great value.
