📜 History

The Fuente family has been making cigars since 1912 (Arturo Fuente Sr. founded the company). After decades of searching, they found ideal growing conditions in the Dominican Republic's Cibao Valley and developed the Chateau de la Fuente estate. The Opus X debuted in 1995 at a small Florida event and immediately became a sensation.
