Vintage vs Modern - which do you prefer?

Vintage petrol lighters have soul. The way they age, the patina - each one tells a story. Modern ones feel sterile in comparison.

The craftsmanship in vintage pieces is unmatched. Hand-finished, quality materials. Modern mass production can't compare.

Vintage all the way! There's something about holding a 50-year-old lighter that still works perfectly. They don't make them like they used to.

I collect both but for different reasons. Vintage for the stories and history, modern for the engineering and innovation.

I prefer modern for daily use and vintage for display. Best of both worlds. My Xikar for cigars, my 1950s Ronson for the cabinet.
