Zippo fluid is expensive and hard to find here. What alternatives work well? I've heard about using naptha - is it safe? Any locally available options?

Ronson fluid is more available and works just as well. Check larger grocery stores or online.

Naptha works but quality varies. Get high-grade naptha from hardware stores. Avoid the cheap stuff.

Local brands like Swan work fine for daily use Zippos. Just don't use them in your premium pieces.

I use Shell VM&P Naptha. Available at paint supply stores. Burns clean and no weird smells.
